AICES Welcomes Potential March 2029 Start for New Low-Value Regime

AICES welcomes recent press reports that the Government has decided to allow sufficient time to prepare for any new low-value regime by planning for a March 2029 introduction. This is a sensible and pragmatic approach which ensures that government and trade have time to prepare for systems and operational changes. We await the details in the actual budget statement, but if these reports are correct, it is very encouraging.
